An evening with Jared Diamond (in LA)

Jared_diamondLA TEDsters, take note: Guns, Germs and Steel author Jared Diamond (TED2003) will headline an intriguing evening at the Natural History Museum this Friday. He's moderating a provocative roundtable, exploring energy choices, climate change and ecological survival — issues raised in his book Collapse, and the exhibit it inspired. The unusual event incorporates video DJs, drumming, reggae and dancing in the Mammals Hall. (Seriously.) We expect a full report.
