Good luck, Elon
At last year's TED, Elon Musk, co-founder of PayPal, and CEO of SpaceX shared his vision for slashing the cost of going into space. Today's his big day, as Falcon 1 prepares for launch (at 1pm PST).
Its goal is to carry a research satellite into orbit, and if successful, it will be the first time a privately developed rocket has achieved this.
We'll be watching...
