Akoha's Inspired Minds Deck (or, the TED Pokedex)

ted_deck_spread_medium.png

Akoha is a card game whose players go on missions based on the cards in each hand — with missions such as “Thank someone” and “Invite someone for coffee,” it’s a great excuse to be a nice person and still be kind of competitive. Akoha’s new Inspired Minds Deck offers 9 different missions based on TEDTalks and TED values. We love the missions (“Share a documentary”; “Photograph the need for change”). And we also love the little TED-as-Pokémon cartoon characters on each card, including a bright-eyed gentleman in a vest who might be Chris Anderson, a hip Dave Eggers type and a downright cuddly Philip Zimbardo.

Watch Peter Ward’s talk on TED.com, where you can download this TEDTalk, rate it, comment on it and find other talks and performances from our archive of 360+ TEDTalks — including more bold predictions and stern warnings.
