“Never mention winning. You can lose when you outscore somebody in the game. You can win when you’re outscored…”
I can’t agree more how true this statement is. Every time when I was influenced by other people or my surrounding environments, I ignored this principle. The result? Most of time I “lost” the game of other people; other time I “won” and felt I was even further away from my dreams.
Since this talk contains so much depth, I wrote an letter to my future self to review it again. I’ll added more about what I have learned then.
