You can embed TEDTalks following the instructions at the support site:
Visit TED and locate the talk you would like to embed in your blog.
Click on the red “Share” button at the bottom of the player window.
Copy the “Link to this talk” URL or the video’s ID number from the overlay window. Use that in one of the following shortcodes:

Publish the post or page.

Shazaam! I found a plugin that does this. I then tested it and the results? Booo! However I found that this is simply no longer needed just find the ted talk that you want and click on share. Copy the embed info and past it into your blog post and poof you are all set. Example… http://www.jessejameson.com/personal-interests/ted-talk-2-years-20-minutes-in-a-biosphere/
