Stewart Brand brings a sobering reality to the Western concept that Slums are unproductive human dumps where the poor live in squalor, ignorance and laziness. The possibility of the world slums outproducing the highly mechanised 1st world leaves me shaking my head and I will share this video with as many people as I can to spread the word that we should respect what “people” can do when given an opportunity, any opportunity to improve their lives. I hope Stewart continmues to share his knowledge and insight.
