Call for Entries: TEDIndia Short Films

Posted by:

For the first time in its 25-year history, the TED Conference is announcing a Call for Entries for its short film program, with selected films to be presented at TEDIndia, Nov. 4-7, 2009, in Mysore.

Sprinkled between the speakers, TEDIndia will showcase short films, music videos and commercials, lasting about 30 seconds to 3 minutes. We are partnering with flux.net to curate this collection of films. Selected films are succinct, stand-alone stories, either elegant and eye-catching or just plain funny. Successful films have a strong story arc, often with a high-impact ending, and use interesting cinematic or design techniques.

All genres are welcome. We are particularly interested in films originating in India, Asia and the developing world.

Deadline for submission: Oct. 2, 2009.
