Chevy Volt test-drive
Yesterday we test-drove the high-tech, yet-to-be released Chevy Volt electric car. Smooth handling and great engine pickup made for a fun driving experience.
Cool features we liked:
+ Due to the pin-drop silent engine, the Volt sounds a soft beeping alert when it detects pedestrians in proximity.
+ After the battery charge is depleted, Volt’s powered by electricity from the on-board generator, which uses a small amount of gas.
+ OnStar mobile app enables drivers to perform remote functions and chart battery power, fuel efficiency and trip information.
