Blue: Roundup of Session 1 on the Mission Blue Voyage

Posted by:

Yesterday began the Mission Blue Voyage — a first-of-its-kind conference hosted by TED. Marine scientists, deep-sea explorers, tech innovators, policy makers and cultural icons will come aboard the National Geographic Endeavor and sail to the Galapagos Islands. For four days, they’ll brainstorm how to make Sylvia Earle‘s TED Prize wish — to protect and restore the world’s oceans — come true. And like all TED events, they’ll watch riveting talks from the world’s most remarkable people.

From April 6-10, the TED Blog will cover the latest happenings on the Mission Blue Voyage, from the latest talks to the behind-the-scenes conversations. Check back often — and look for the first Mission Blue talks on TED.com in the next weeks!
