I look forward to hearing what is said, but the bio’s of these speakers doesn’t bode well for a well-rounded and balanced conversation. Where are the voices from the Energy Industry as it exists? Altruistic visions of the future are fine and necessary, but we are dealing with a “what is”, not a “what we wish”. Bashing big oil, BP, (or Bush) in this political climate will not give traction to a movement for change. I hope we can check our altruistic idealism at the door, roll up our sleeves and solve a real-world problem with real-world perspectives.
