That’s possible. However, the job of curators is to curate, that means to find speakers/content of interest. The fact is the vast majority of speakers at TED and TEDx events are men. I’ve been advocating for several years more gender parity on TED stages, so far without much success. TED 2013 has less than 30% women speakers. So far TED Global 2012 has achieved the highest number of women speakers. I will continue my advocacy.
