Chris:

I know this is a long shot, but like you said; "you have to be disciplined to get what you want"

I just got done watching your adsworthspreading video and cannot put into words how much I liked it.

I would do anything to just ask you a few questions!

Is there any way shape or form to contact you other than 'Redit' ?

You are a very hard person to reach and I am very inspired by your "ads worth spreading" campaign.
I can not get enough of advertising--the good kind that is..-- and your on to something HUGE.

Please Please Please can I somehow get your contact information?

You are my idol. You are genius. I would do anything for TED, you, or your ideals.

Cheers,

I would prefer the e-booklets to be remain creative-commons licensed and free to read online. I would only pay for a print-on-demand paper version. I would maybe pay for an email-abo. Coupled with an able print-on-demand service it should be possible to customize your own paper book out of the most interesting booklets.
The ebook-for-sale version combines the worst of paper book industry (no update after a book is done, book becomes -once paid for- outdated over time) with the worst of the internet age (etablishing the idea in consumers that information shall NOT be free, shipping some kind of physical and/or legal DRM package mechanism together with the ebook).
I expect better ideas from TED.
There are enough ways (like flattr.com) to generate money for the authors / for TED without submitting to an Digital Rights Management system.
