Almost twenty years ago. It is true: Life just gets better. Because I have lived through the worst, through death. Nothing will ever be so difficult, so harrowing, so impossible, so dark and so painful. My failure was my ultimate success. Thank God it wasn’t meant to be. I am on the other side now. It was not my time to go. I’m glad.
