These are some great resources for suicide prevention and help. It is so important to raise awareness and education about this subject and get rid of the stigma against mental illnesses. September is National Suicide Prevention Month, so it's even more important to get the word out and spread these resources. In honor of this month, the Glendon Association has a series of webinars on understanding trauma and suicide: http://www.psychalive.org/2012/05/free-and-ce-webinars-on-trauma-with-christine-courtois-ph-d/

A great site and resource for teenagers empowering other teens to end the silence about suicide and depression is aevidum.org The group formed after a student completed the act of suicide in 2004.

These kids have spent countless hours devoting their lives to ending the silence and stigma that is surrounding suicide and depression. Check out the site and spread the word about Aevidum!

Thanks for posting these links. It's so important to have them readily available to those who need them. I lost my brother to suicide a few years ago. I've started speaking publicly about it to help raise awareness and reduce the stigma attached to mental illness and suicide. Feel free to check out my presentation on my blog site: http://kristenkimball.me/2011/12/15/morning-assembly/

Those are some great resources for anyone going through something like this. However, I don't see any links to crime scene cleaning companies. It's a little-known step in the healing process for the families of suicide victims. I mean, you can't very well begin healing with the aftermath unhandled. I know it's not something anyone likes to think about, but it's an unfortunate fact. Why not let people know that there's someone out there who can take care of it?

My business is failing, but how do I close it down? How do I stop the suffering? I have asked business brokers, I have offered to hand over the key to the business to my manager. Of course he doesn't want it, as long as he can demand a salary every month. Of course, if I were to suicide successfully people will pretend they don't understand why. And they will sneer about my failure and inadequacies. The shame is on government and society for not offering options.
