we go to TED for so many reasons, looking for the unkown, the different, the unique, the things that stunned us, surprise us, things that make us cry and smile and take us to the edge.. and finally, we end up giving the longest standing ovation of all the TED talks to a man who spoke about something as simple (but also complicated) as equal justice, or justice. “In many parts of this country the opposite of poverty is not wealth. In too many places the opposite of poverty is justice”. I would add, not only in this country, but in the world.. What are we waiting? what’s more important than addressing this issue? That was my main reason to go to TED: to hear this man talk.
