One thing thou, Lyttelton where the epi-centre was, there was no power for over a week. Their community already had IT & community volunteer structure call Lyttelton timebank 2 year prior from the disaster in place. I just saying, you don’t need a disaster to build a community. A strong community & supporting your local community is key to having a better life & it REAL helps when disaster happens.
