Six intriguing TED Talks on our perception of Beauty. While they’re all worth watching, we highly recommend Richard Seymour’s “How Beauty Feels,” Virginia Postrel’s “On Glamour,” and Dennis Dutton’s “A Darwinian theory of beauty.”
Who knew mankind’s favorite definition of beauty is a habitable, life-sustaining landscape, that being an artist was once considered (and still is in our opinion) a significant factor in scoring a mate, and that an obsession with the teardrop shape could be considered our first artistic movement? All that and much more, thanks to TED!
