These are the types of initiatives that funding can be sourced by providing a fixed income product to investors that proceeds from which cashflow is generated to support th research. In this way a risk-neutral product is created for those interested in this cause and research funding is achieved on a draw schedule. The foundation always have the capital it raised. I do not understand why other Structured Financiers have not offered to assist in this cause. $500k is worth $5M in funding in todays market.
