		<description><![CDATA[I like the connection between TEDTalks and science fiction. I do believe that literary science fiction is not always (or not typically) about escapism. It&#039;s part of it, but science fiction also typically carries a thought experiment that can change the way the reader thinks about actual, or current, reality. And in this, I&#039;ve always felt there was an affinity between TEDTalks and science fiction - asking the big questions that are necessary if we are to go forward.]]></description>
