4 great talks for International Women's Day

To celebrate March 8, International Women's Day, we suggest these four TEDTalks gems from some amazing speakers -- artists, scientists and economists who think deeply about the role of women.

Maira Kalman's back on NYTimes.com

The wonderful Maira Kalman is writing and painting a new blog, "And the Pursuit of Happiness," for NYTimes.com. New entries appear the final Friday of each month and include Kalman's thoughts on American democracy. This first installment is especially divine: The Inauguration. At Last.
