The best TEDx cupcakes

Posted by:

Warning: this post will make you hungry. Very, very hungry. Over the past three years — since TEDx independently organized conferences were launched — we’ve seen some pretty great cupcakes at events. For example, the aesthetically pleasing cupcakes above were made by the organizers of TEDxDirahWomen, held last December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event was the first TEDx for women in the area, featuring 16 speakers.

Below, some more delicious TEDx cupcakes.

These goodies were available at TEDxTallaght in Dublin, Ireland. Their 2012 conference, “When Stories Collide,” will be held on November 15.

Red velvet cake ruled at TEDxESCP, held in Paris last February. What baked goods will they favor for their next event, “Make the Difference?”

We heart the crew at TEDxSingaporeWomen, held last December, who made these treats to celebrate their 13th event.

TEDxNJLibraries was held in May in Princeton, New Jersey. Participants got to chow down with these sweets.

Forman Christian College in Lahore, Pakistan, held its first TEDx event — TEDxFCCollege — last December, with trays of these yummy cupcakes.

TEDxEast brings the spirit of TED to New York City — along with the buttercream. Their next event is May 11.

A high five to the organizers of TEDxCanarias for these creative cakes. Their next event will take place November 16.

And finally, some creative frosting at TEDxSantaMonica, held in California in May. Their next conference was recently moved to August 23.
