TED is thrilled to present a new program called TED Fellows!
It’s an international fellowship program that will bring 40 inspired, trailblazing individuals from around the world into the TED community each year.
Their fresh perspectives will pump up the conversations at TED and bring new initiatives to life. Meanwhile, the Fellows will get exclusive training from the world’s leaders in spreading ideas.

Who can become a Fellow?
We’re looking for individuals from around the world who’ve shown unusual accomplishment, exceptional courage and moral imagination. People who show potential to increase positive change in their field — whether it’s technology, entertainment, design, science, film, art, music, entrepreneurship, the NGO community or other domains.
Ideal candidates show real achievement. They’re makers and doers, not just talkers.
We’re focusing on attracting applicants who live or work in five places:
• Asia/Pacific region
• Africa
• the Caribbean
• Latin American
• the Middle East
Applicants may originate anywhere.

What will Fellows do?
TED Fellows will participate in the full suite of TED community offerings. They’ll network, collaborate, hone their idea-spreading skills and forge new organizations. Some will speak at TED and see their talks posted online.
We think they’ll change the world.
