A spotlight. A smoke trail. Dancers. Session 2 of TED, The Parlor, opened with a gorgeous performance by Quixotic Fusion, a dance company out of Kansas City.
In three pieces, they showed a stunning combination of dance and technology, interacting with each other and with objects projected around them. And it didn’t stop there. A company known for blending aerial acrobatics, dance, fashion, film, music and visual fx did not disappoint, gracing the TED audience with a final piece combining aerial acrobatics, lights, and world-class dance to produce an experience of the grandeur of technology.
Here are some photos from yesterday’s rehearsal that give a glimpse into the grandeur and explosive artistry on display.
Stay tuned for photos of the performance itself.
