The Stage at TED@Tokyo

As the TED team travels around the world hosting salons in 14 cities, we’re collecting great local stories. Here’s a quick report from TED@Tokyo, held May 29, 2012, at Academyhills, and locally hosted by the team at TEDxTokyo.

To relive a fraction of the buzzing excitement around the event, check out the Facebook album from Tokyo improv comedy troupe Pirates of Tokyo Bay. Then head over to Google+ to view more photos from Andy McGovern’s TED@Tokyo album, and Hyo Yoshikawa’s album documenting the event.

Although the auditions are over in Tokyo, the conversation has not stopped according to a tweet from TEDxTokyo:

With four more cities to go, we are nearing the end of our experimental journey, but you can still participate by voting for your favorite presenters in July when the videos are posted to the TED.com website.
