TED Talks at Rock the Vote in Philly

The Rock the Vote bus is parked in Philadelphia today and tomorrow, and the TED Blog dropped by to visit. A special playlist of TED Talks is in rotation on the bus monitors (Hans Rosling is shown in the photo). Also on the bus are four kiosks where soon-to-be voters can register to vote and get information about absentee ballots.

Outside the bus was a fantastic fall-afternoon show, kicked off by Joey Pants from The Sopranos. (It turns out he is a huge TED Talks fan.) Max Kennedy talked about how every vote makes a real difference, and Questlove from the Roots urged young Philadelphians to register themselves and five more people they know. Music came from Solange Knowles, Trevor Menear and headliner Talib Kweli.
