The ZigZag Project launches from the TED Audio Collective

Posted by:

ZigZag, a business podcast about being human hosted by Manoush Zomorodi (who also hosts TED Radio Hour with NPR), returns March 25 with its sixth season in the form of The ZigZag Project. The latest iteration of the show takes listeners on a journey to discover new ways to align business ambitions with systemic change that’s good for the world.

Inspired by the massive overhaul of our lives due to COVID-19, The ZigZag Project offers a six-step boot camp that’s been beta-tested by listeners and features insights from luminaries who have helped Manoush Zomorodi stay the course throughout her career. The interactive experience combines audio storytelling with written exercises and a companion newsletter to align listeners’ personal values with their professional ambitions.

With six new episodes, this season will help listeners better understand their personal and professional purpose and the tools needed to translate them into their next zig or zag. The season culminates in a commencement episode that includes excerpts from Manoush’s conversation with Stacey Abrams on TED Radio Hour. Additional guests this season include MIT humanist chaplain Greg Epstein, conflict resolution specialist Priya Parker and former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, among others.

“The world is changing, and many of my listeners say they’re at a crossroads, too,” said host Manoush Zomorodi. “I’m so thrilled to offer this fun, interactive process to help folks figure out how they can move forward in their career while also sticking to their values.”

New episodes of The ZigZag Project will air every other week on Thursdays, starting March 25.

The ZigZag Project comes from Stable Genius Productions in collaboration with the TED Audio Collective. TED’s collection of podcasts includes shows co-developed by TED and its speakers as well as shows developed and produced independently by inspiring thinkers and creators. The growing list of podcasts ranges from TED originals like TED Talks Daily and Far Flung with Saleem Reshamwala to independent series like Design Matters with Debbie Millman and Conversations with People Who Hate M‪e from Dylan Marron.

This season of ZigZag is made possible with the support of our partner JobsOhio, a private nonprofit organization dedicated to business development and expansion in the state of Ohio. Learn more about TED Partnerships here.
