What kind of wish would you like to see win the TED Prize?

From now until August 31, anyone in the TED community — from speakers to fans — can nominate a leader with a wish to inspire the word for the 2013 TED Prize.  To nominate a mentor, colleague, family member or friend — even yourself — visit the TED Prize nominations page for all the appropriate online forms.

Last year, the TED Prize went to The City 2.0, an online effort to connect citizens and innovators across continents for the unique sharing of both problems and solutions.  In 2011, artist J.R. won the TED Prize, launching Inside Out — a large-scale participatory photo project about personal identity. In 2010, chef Jamie Oliver was picked for the TED Prize, expanding his Food Revolution with the award.

This year, the cash prize for the TED Prize has been increased to $1 million. And so we’re curious — what kind of wish would you like to see TED grant? Take the poll below to make your voice heard. And feel free to explain further in the comments section.
