I grew up in the Washington, DC area, before making my way to Grinnell College in Iowa. Since graduating in 2015, I've worked at the National Institutes of Health and the American Society of Nephrology. I joined the TEDx media team in February 2015. As the Science and Tech Fellow, I screen for psuedoscience and write for both the TED and Ideas blog, among other things. Also, I'm currently in grad school at Johns Hopkins University.

What on earth do we do? Notes from Session 6 of TED2018

This beautiful blue marble, our shared earth: On a sunny morning in Vancouver, we pack into the darkened TED theater to learn more about its mysteries, its challenges, and how we might help it thrive.
